Garmin inReach Messenger  has a monochrome display that can be read in direct sunlight. Has an IPX7-rated waterproof, durable construction. Its display resolution is 160 x 68 pixels. Comes with a lithium-ion rechargeable battery that, when turned off, keeps its charge for up to a year.
